Who am I?

My name is Josh Siegel and I am currently a student at New York University. Throughout my life I've always been known as a "Sports Nerd," seeing as I just about always talked about sports. I am a diehard fan of the Orioles and Ravens, as well as the Wizards and the Duke sports teams, and spend most of my time thinking about things like the Ravens horrible play calling, or how the Orioles passed up a real shot at winning the World Series in the 2014 offseason.  As time went on I increasingly gained more knowledge and I felt like I had something to say so I figured "why not start a blog?" What makes Lunch Table Sports different is that I am not some type of expert who has spent my entire being a part of the sports world before moving into media. I am just a regular guy, who happens to have a slightly unhealthy obsession with sports, and just wants to write about the types of things that people talk about over lunch. Talking sports with my friends at lunch was truly one of the most meaningful parts of High School for me, and I want this blog to have a similar feel. Rather than telling you what to think I want it to feel like we are just two friends, shooting the shit at lunch.
